Extractors and Ichor

Ichor is located in many pockets under Ichus' surface. It is dangerous and volatile raw, but can be processed for use in tech and magic experiments. For example, Blue Ichor can be centrifuged and the resulting solid gel is taken for use in monitors and screens, while the liquid is further refined for information cables.

Extraction is the dangerous process of extracting Ichor samples from deep within Ichus' crust. Extractors must delve underground and place and maintain ichor pipes, repairing them, clearing them of debris, and ensuring leaks do not create unmanageable growths or blockages.

Red Ichor

Red Ichor is an artificially made Ichor that is an inverse polarity to Blue Ichor. While Blue Ichor "tugs" at superphysical objects, Red Ichor repels it. Red Ichor is often used to scrub areas of magic, or create insulated barriers to stabilize electronics and vaults. Red and Blue Ichor can never mix, so a Purple Ichor is impossible.
