Scrubbing

The air doesn't even feel dead, does it? Sterile's a closer word, but...that'd require it to feel like something at all.

The act of "scrubbing" magic from an area -- usually through the usage of cultivating magically parasitic molds, isolation barriers, or disruptive frequencies in areas reliant on technology. Magic scrubbing is often done to reduce or entirely halt the spawning of magical creatures, or to weaken enchantments and curses.
