Wizard

Some mages like to use the name Wizard for themselves as a way to make themself appear strong and intimidating. For most on Ichus, the term wizard is akin to "magic expert" -- like calling a particularly angry Vido a Dragon. But for both...the origin of those terms is much different under the surface.

A true wizard is a strange being that you would most likely encounter at your very own doorstep, knocking incessantly at 4 in the morning for some pebble or other that happens to catch its eye. If it's knocking for any reason other than to trade, you may wish to quietly slip out the back window and leave town. They are inhuman, annoying, unpredictable, and terribly, frighteningly powerful -- yet quite a nice source of strange objects you most likely wouldn't find anywhere else.

True and false wizards alike have an affinity for mergespheres, and seem to enjoy using them as currency to trade amongst eachother at a special market dimension.
