Lich

A mage whose body becomes entirely dependant on magic will gradually wither away, magic replacing the function of muscles, tendon and nerves. A Lich rarely retains its sanity once the brain is consumed as well, merely a ghost of their former self. A sessile lich's body may begin to fuse with the surrounding environment, causing strange false flesh to "grow" outwards from the lich's origin point and take over towers or patches of land.
