This is a rough list of various materials found on Ichus. (Mostly for quick worldbuilding reference)

Freshwater: Plentiful

Salt (mineral): Plentiful. Located in oceans and pockets underground near saltwater veins, which course through the upper crust.

Hot & coldsprings: Semi-rare. Exist but not due to volcanic activity, often located above some form of elemental nest pocket.

Metals: Very Rare, concentrated iron is sourced more often from the corpses of deep-sea creatures (most killed during the Blackout) and sand wyrms than mining, though mining operations still exist (especially around embedded asteroids/EOIs). the lack of metal also is why gel-based tech is still pretty prevalent despite electricity becoming more of a thing

Gemstones/crystals: Semi-rare depending on type. Often charged with magical energy from proximity to whiterock.

Blue Ichor: Plentiful but dangerous. Most often the Ichor being referred to with the term. Located in subsurface veins and can hold memories and thought. Can be centrifuged to make Stable Gel and Plasma which is used in machines frequently.

Red Ichor: Manmade, used in magic barriers/scrubbed cities. Repels magic, clarifies reality, and can create "safe" spots that are less effected by fluxes. A semi-recent discovery.

Purple Ichor: Theoretically impossible.

Whiterock: Plentiful. Very dense semi-chalky material. Imagine astronaut ice-cream mixed with wet chalk but dense and can flex quite a bit under pressure before crumbling. Plentiful but useless outside of very deep research stations due to turning closer to marble once brought closer to the surface. Highly nutritious but mildly toxic and difficult to break down. Paste made from whiterock causes a numbing sensation when rubbed into a wound (not a good idea). Distributed throughout pretty much all of Ichus' crust.

Stable Gel: Manmade from centrifuged Ichor, referred to as just Gel usually. Used often in electronics and memory devices.

Bluegum: A more powerful but more dangerous "naturally found" version of Stable Gel. Very rare and expensive.

Pinkgum: ???. Incredibly rare, moreso than Bluegum. No surviving research.

Redgum: Manmade. Concentrated red ichor.

Deep Gel: Unstable, takes over exposed spaces quickly. From a protective coating around ichor veins in the deepest layers. Dangerous to touch.
