How do I get a Vido?

You may make a personal Vido anytime, but if you'd like to get one that's been officially registered, you'll need either a Relic or to obtain an existing Vido from another user.

Relics are planned to be obtainable through various activities on site, which are a work in progress!

What will I be able to do here?

Vidosphere is planned to have several dailies, art-roleplay storylines, challenges, and collectibles to engage with using your Vido and Explorers! Currently focus is on building the site and species base mechanics before introducing more interactive elements.

What is an Explorer?

Eventually, users will be able to make three characters to level up and unlock various aspects of the site via a questline.

The characters planned are the Scavenger, Relic Hunter, and the Purger. This feature is not yet implemented, but when it is, Questlines will appear on your Dashboard once they are ready!

What is ES?

ES stands for Energy Slots or Energy Spheres -- Vido have an array of physical and magical traits that take up a certain amount of ES when they manifest. The "total ES" number on a Vido's masterlist entry shows the max ES all their traits can add up to!

Can I change my Vido's design?

You can, as long as it's still recognizable as the original Vido! You can do so by submitting a redesign request here!

Redesigns do have a few rules in order to preserve the design and keep people from cheating the game -- so please read the redesign guide (wip) when ready!
