Vido sometimes generate with a condition known as inkskin, where large patches of their body are composed of a constantly replenishing ooze.

How deep this layer goes varies between individuals, but most have around 2 to 3 inches of it before hitting their inner core. Testing this substance shows that it’s composed of the same stuff as corrupted Vido tend to ooze. The most common theory is that the patches of inkskin come from some sort of magical corruption during the generation process and therefore create constantly decaying areas on the Vido’s body, yet those with this condition don’t seem to mind it, and as far as we know it does not hasten corruption in any way. The ooze that drips off of the Vido’s body will evaporate within a few minutes of touching the floor.
